    <abstract language="eng">&lt;p&gt;The ion solvent interaction of BaCl&lt;sub&gt;2&lt;/sub&gt; and BaBr&lt;sub&gt;2&lt;/sub&gt; in methanol + water and ethanol + water at 10, 20 and 30% (w/w) within the temperature range of 30&amp;deg; - 40&amp;deg; C have been inferred from conductance data. The dissociation constant K , DG&amp;deg;&lt;sub&gt;t &lt;/sub&gt; and DG&amp;deg;&lt;sub&gt;t&lt;/sub&gt; (el) have been computed and the ion solvent interactions have been studied.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
