The flavonoid and terpenoid present in Etoll : Benzene eluents minimise the glucose level in blood, which inhanced by gluco flavonoid and alkaloids. Experimental study releals that 1% carraginine soln, induced inflammation in hind paw of albino rats significantly effected by I. racemosa as well as its active principle. Hypoglycemic study show the preventive as well as curative effect of I. racemosa.
