    <abstract language="eng">&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;6-(3&amp;#39;-nitrophenyl)-4-substituted benzylidine-2,3,5-trihydro pyridazin-3-one derivatives are synthesized from 6-(3&amp;#39;-nitrophenyl)-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro pyridazin-3-one by reaction with substiuted aldehydes. Friedal craft acylation of benzene in presence of anhydrous aluminium chloride yield &amp;szlig;-benzoyl propionic acid. After nitration with H&lt;sub&gt;2&lt;/sub&gt;SO&lt;sub&gt;4&lt;/sub&gt; and HNO&lt;sub&gt;3&lt;/sub&gt; of the propionic acid yield &amp;szlig; -m-nitrobenzoyl propionic acid, which is cyclised with hydrazine hydrate to form 6-(3&amp;#39;-nitrophenyt)-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro pyridazin-3-one. Ali the&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;final synthesized compounds are evaluated for anticonvulsant activity by MES (maximal electro shock) method.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
