<p>Co-ordination behavior of Mn in +2 oxidation state was studied by taking sodium salts of saccharides as ligands. As a result of solid-solid reaction, compounds of Mn2+ with dextrose, fructose, lactose and starch in 1:6, 1:4 and 1:1 ratio were prepared. Physical properties were studied and possible structure suggested.</p>
