The inhibition of corrosion of ZA-27 alloy in 1M hydrochloric acid and 1M sulphuric acid by synthesized mercapto oxadiazoles was studied using weight loss method. Results obtained revealed that the synthesized compounds are efficient inhibitors. Generally inhibition efficiency increases with increasing inhibitor concentration and decreasing temperature. The synergistic effect of halide ions on the inhibition of oxadiazoles was also investigated.<br />
