<p style="text-align: justify;">Cobalt-chromium-HAP (hyroxyapatite) biomaterial system was developed by powder metallurgy technique. Composition of 0 wt. %, 5 wt. %, 10 wt. %, 15 wt. % and 20 wt. % of HAP was blended with cobalt-chromium alloy. The method in fabrication of the samples consists of mixing, blending, pressing and sintering of the samples. The results showed that the most stable sample with less corrosion effect was the Co-Cr alloys without HAP. In general, the corrosion rate growths relatively with the times. In addition, the effect of adding HAP made the samples getting worse, which help the corrosion to grow in the biomaterial system developed.</p>
