    <abstract language="eng">&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;A simple and sensitive spectrophotometric method for determination of diltiazem hydrochloride in pure and dosage form is proposed. The drug exhibiting maximum absorption at 249.8 nm in chloroform. The drug obeys Beer&amp;#39;s law in the concentration range from 2 to 20 &amp;micro;g / ml. The results of analysis have been validated statistically and recovery studies.&lt;br /&gt;&#xD;
