Abstract:

The synthesis, properties, elemental analysis magnetic susceptibility, electrical conductivity, electronic measurements and IR spectral studies of the ligand  – hydroxy naphthyl methanal thiosemicarbazone and its complexes with Chromium (III), Manganese (II), Iron (III) & Cobalt (III) have been discussed. On the basis of these observations, probable structures of all the metal complexes have been assigned.
