Abstract:

The formation of bioligand complexes of some medicinal drugs with Co (II), Ni (II) and Cu (II) ions is investigated. The formation constant of Ranitidine Hydrochloride (dimethyl {5-[2-(1-methyl amino-2-Nitrobinylaminoe-thylthiomethyl] furfuryl}-amine hydrochloride) and 6-methoxy naphthaldehyde has been carried out pH metrically in aqueous solution at 30oC, at 0.1 molar fixed ionic strength. The stability constants were determined by using Calvin Bjerrum pH titration techniques as modified by Irving Rossotti.
