Health status of printing press workers of Bhopal with regard to their clinical and haematological, blood iron, copper and zinc levels were assessed. Workers exposed to lead complained of headache, muscular weakness, abdominal cramps and manifested sign of anaemia, with low haemoglobin, iron, copper and blood levels in association of higher levels of lead. Children were found to be more susceptible for lead toxicity.
